Atty. Raterta is a Partner of the firm.

Atty. Raterta obtained his pre-law and Bachelor of Laws degrees from Silliman University , an American university in the Philippines .

After passing the Philippine Bar, he joined the Office of the Solicitor General of the Philippines , where he rose from being a Trial Attorney to an Associate Solicitor, and eventually to a Solicitor. He later joined the firm Castillo Laman Tan Pantaleon & San Jose as a Senior Associate, and was later appointed as the Head of the Legal Department of Pepsi-Cola Philippines, Inc. He eventually set up his own private practice, which he later merged with what has now become the Remollo Raz & Redillas Law Offices.

Atty. Raterta's areas of practice are in litigation, special proceedings, and appellate work. He is the legal counsel and/or corporate secretary of a few corporations in the Philippines .

Atty. Raterta is a director of the Ancient Order of Freemasons, Grand Lodge of the Philippines . He is also the president of the Silliman University Alumni Association Metro Manila, Inc., and the past president of the Mad Dog Motorcycle Club, Inc.
